Sparking Cranberry Brie Bites

makes about 16

Sugared Cranberries

Ingredients:

2 cups fresh cranberries

1 cup good maple syrup

1 cup granulated sugar

Direction:

Rinse cranberries and place in a medium bowl. Heat syrup in a small sauce pan just warm. Pour over cranberries when syrup is warm, not hot, or cranberries may pop. Cool, cover, and let soak in the refrigerator overnight.

Drain cranberries in a colander. Place sugar in a large bowl or baking dish. Add cranberries in 2 batches and roll around until lightly coated in sugar. Place on a baking sheet until dry, about 1 hour.

16 crackers

8 oz Brie cheese

cranberry chutney or cranberry relish

fresh mint for garnish

Assemble crackers with one slice of brrie, a light layer of cranberry chutney, and 4 or 5 sugared cranberries. Garnish with fresh mint springs.

Today I find another fun idea to make a personal cookbook from domestifluff.com. It's so cute and free. It's a full page (8 1/2" x 11") printable recipe template.

It's different from other recipe cards I found. There is a version of the recipe page that has editable form fields, so you can type in your recipes and send them to family and friends via email!

You can download the template and use it to help create your own cookbooks.

Use File > Save As when you're saving the edible version of the recipe page, and rename it so you don't overwrite the original template.

I rarely bake this year cause I try to control my weight now, ha, ha,...

Last year I enjoyed baking so much. Banking make me lots of fun and giving others my homemade bakeries make me so happy. Anyway, there is one thing I don't like. I gain weight few kilograms, so sad T.T

Even though i look a bit chubby now, I still love baking, and search for some tasty recipes : D

I've saved lots of yummy recipes in my computer. I plan to collect them and will start baking as usual soon (after I loss weight 2-3 kilograms \\(^.^)//).

I heard someone usually write down their recipes on the recipe cards. I think that's a good idea! So I try to look for some cute recipe cards. I found many cute recipe cards in the internet, some of them are free but the others are not.

Chinese Broccoli Beef Noodle Stir Fry

I thought the noodle and beef lovers would like to try this recipe like me.

I'm so hungry suddenly I saw it. It's look yummy. I read through the recipe quickly. It isn't difficult to find the ingredients and to cook.

chinese broccoli beef noodle stir fry recipe
Servings: 4

From Noodles Every Day
ingredients:
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
3 tablespoons Shaoxing wine, sake or dry white wine
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon tapioca starch or cornstarch
1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
1 pound fresh or 10 ounces dried noodles
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 large garlic cloves, crushed and finely chopped
1.25 cups chicken or vegetable stock
1 pound Chinese broccoli or regular common broccoli, cut into bite-size chunks or florets
Freshly ground black pepper
directions:
In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 tablespoon each soy sauce, oyster sauce and rice wine. Add the sugar and continue to whisk until completely dissolved. Stir in the tapioca starch and continue stirring until smooth. Add the sesame oil and beef, and mix well. Marinate for 20 minutes. Drain and discard the excess marinade.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook the noodles until 1 minute shy of done and drain. (We'll finish cooking the noodles at the end)
Heat 1 tablespoon of the vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over high heat and stir-fry the garlic until fragrant, about 1o seconds. Add the beef and stir-fry until tender, 1 to 2 minutes. Transfer to a plate. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil and when hot, add the Chinese broccoli, stir frying so that the oil coats the Chinese broccoli. Pour in the 1/4 cup of the stock, turn the heat to medium-low and cover with a tight fitting lid. Cook the Chinese broccoli until tender, 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer the Chinese broccoli to the same plate.
Add the remaining cup of stock and the remaining 2 tablespoons each of soy sauce, oyster sauce, and rice wine to the same skillet and bring to a boil over
high heat.

I wouldn't to believe that The New York Times uploaded this ugly Pad Thai.

Even though there're only 7,xxx people saw this video. Most of them knew this isn't Pad Thai. Some of them might not know. I wouldn't like anyone to misunderstand about Thailand famous dish.

Actually, Pad Thai, my favorite dish, is look yummy and very delicious. It isn't look terrible like the one in this video.

I'd like to introduce you how to cook a yummy Pad Thai.

This is a yummy and easy breakfast. Try it..you will be hooked!

1 3 oz package cream cheese, softened

1- 1/2 tbl confectioner sugar

1 package (12 oz) frozen french toast slices

3/4 cup fresh blueberries

In a small bowl mix cream cheese and sugar. Set aside.

Heat french toast according to directions. Spread cream cheese on one side of bread, add blueberries, top with other slice. Garnish with extra blueberries and confectioner sugar if desired.

I have not baked for many months so I miss baking time very much.

The Vanilla Magnolia's Bakery recipe is my favorite cupcake recipe. It's easy and yummy recipe and perfect with any kind of frosting. This time I try honey butter cream and add strawberry sauce for topping.

My honey butter cream

(make enough for 12 cupcakes)

butter ..... 170 g.

powder sugar ..... 150 g.

honey ..... 1/3 cup

milk ..... 20 ml.

The honey butter cream is a bit sweet and smell good.

It's yummy with strawberry sauce topping which's little bit sour. It's also tasty without strawberry sauce topping, isn't too sweet.

I haven't posted for almost 2 weeks. I had long weekend, last week and enjoyed traveling to the north of Thailand. It's long time (around 5 years) I had not travel there. I prefer to travel to the south of Thailand cause I love beach and sea more than mountain.

Materials (will make 5-7 lockets, depending on size):

2 tbsp Beeswax
2 tbsp Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, or Jojoba OilEssential oils (Some great scents are Jasmine, Lavender, Vanilla, Ylang ylang, Citrus, etc. You can find these at natural food stores, craft stores or online)

Sukhothai is my hometown. It's the first capital of Thailand, around 7xx years ago. Sri-Satchanalai is a vicinity.

Sukhothai is compound of two words, 'Suk' and 'Aru-nothai'. 'Suk' means Happiness. 'Aru-nothai' means The dawn. So 'Sukhothai' means The dawn of happiness...woww....

Nowsdays, Sukhothai and Sri-Satchanalai are the world heriatages!

The beautiful ceremonial which you see in the 5th part is 'Loi Kratong Festival'. Loi Krathong festival is a Thai tradition which I've posted here.

I've found this sooo... cute unazukin doll in ishtar olivera's blog for few month. I like it so much. She give it for free here. You can get it for your blog like me. From her blog, it's so easy. Just copy and paste the text on your html widget. You can change the text if you want.

I tried to follow the instruction shown there, copied and pasted those blue text several times. So sad, the cute unazukin doll didn't show in my blog T.T

Today I try to add this cute doll to my blog again. I copy only these pink text,

World's Biggest Model Airport Opens

The aircraft 'fly,' the cars move and the people queue. But Knuffingen Airport in Hamburg functions in a single room

I see TG aircraft, Thai International airline, in this Video also :-P.

Knuffingen Airport is the latest exhibit at Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany, and after seven years in the making it has finally opened to the public.

It features 40 model aircraft and 90 vehicles that move and 'fly' around the airport, and 15,000 mini people. Not a single moment of air rage, however.

The airport is a reproduction of Hamburg's International Airport and joins the world's biggest model railroad system, also exhibited at Minatur Wunderland.

The model includes around 40,000 lights, 15,000 figurines, 500 cars, 10,000 trees, 50 trains and 300 buildings.

The model covers 150 square meters and includes a variety of aircraft including Airbus A380s.

TG aircraft is the 5th from bottom :-D.

Lighting gives the airport a night-time hue and shows off the functioning lights on cars such as headlights and indicators.
